ABOUT

Hi, My name is Hugh Gribben, and I am Currently studding at Griffith University on my final year for a Bachelor of Applied Information technology. I have had a strong interest in technology and the Japanese culture for as long as I can remember, I have a beautiful Japanese Fiance with whom I share my life.

I have a strong work ethic and always arrive before my shift is due to start, If I am physically capable of getting to work I will be there.

I work hard and am forever striving to meet new targets archive personal and company goals.

I have a strong thirst for knowledge in the I.T industry and am forever expanding my knowledge.

I have been to Japan twice, once in 2014 and once in 2017, I have enjoyed staying in Japan and would like to at some point go to Japan and live there for a year or two then come back to Aus. Both Sena (My fiance) and I prefer living in Australia.

I am also very mechanically minded with automotive and have gone so far as to rebuild one of my cars with a new engine.

Japanese Interst

I have had a strong interest in Japanese Culture for many Years now, my interest of course started with anime, which then grew strongly into music, movies and culture. The more I learnt about Japan the more I became interested in the culture and country. A little over a year ago I met (quite unexpectedly) my now current Girlfriend Sena Goto who is from Mie prefecture In Japan (We met in Australia). Since our relationship has started I have been learning Japanese off her, and have even gone over to Japan to experience the culture first hand. I have recently taken a strong interest in watching movies and T.V series that have been made in Japan. The story's and film styles in Japan are very different to the typical western movies, character development is usually extremely strong with a good mix of personality types.

Technology/ICT Interest

I have always had a strong Interest In Computers and Technology and especially Computers. Since I first started working and learning about computers I have attained allot of knowledge about a wide array of computer software and Hardware. My knowledge expands across Windows, Mac and Linux (more the Debian side than RedHat.) IOS and Android.
